Destination Special Collections: Student Protest Posters
UNT students created these hand-written posters as part of a silent protest in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. The posters were taped to the front of Willis Library on September 21, 2016. UNT student Jazmine McGill organized the display to start a conversation about police brutality against African Americans and race relations in general.
