Fun and Games: Mickey Mouse

This Mickey Mouse doll is one of the earliest versions of the doll ever created, around 1930. Walt Disney typically gave these early dolls as gifts to business associates and family friends. This particular doll was given to Gustine Courson Weaver, a major collector of children’s books and memorabilia, along with a note signed by Walt Disney himself.

This pop-up Mickey Mouse book is one of the earliest American made pop-up books. The book was produced by Disney Studios because of the popularity of Mickey Mouse animations at the time.
